The Memory Trap
Other things I figured out this week: That Josh Homme can dance, that Hayes Carll really likes Little Rock
and that Rhett Miller misses his band (The Old 97s). Also, Rest in Peace,
Phil May. His band, the Pretty Things were competitors
to the Rolling Stones in their early days. They were raunchier tho. They were always a bit of a mess, but
they made one of the best psychedelic albums ever recorded, the sadly-overlooked "S.F. Sorrow."

"I don’t know when it will be safe to return to singing arm in arm at the top of our lungs, hearts racing, bodies moving, souls bursting with life. But I do know that we will do it again, because we have to. It’s not a choice. We’re human."-- #DaveGrohl https://t.co/3z4O82EmYr

#NileRodgers’ syncopated guitar strum (played on a Fender Strat w/ a maple wood neck) has been a strong staple in pop music for the last 40 years, from #Chic’s “Good Times” to #DojaCat’s “Say So.” @SwitchedOnPop #podcast https://t.co/Dr5MkDNVYS
